Understanding why we behave the way we do can often be challenging. We all experience moments when our thoughts, emotions, and actions seem difficult to comprehend. In these times, it can be helpful to receive consistent, non-judgmental, and empathetic support to make sense of our inner experiences.

I specialize in an insight-oriented approach to counseling, which focuses on uncovering the deeper motivations behind our behaviors. By exploring how past experiences influence our current patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating, this approach helps individuals connect their history to their present-day coping strategies. As we gain awareness of these underlying dynamics, we are empowered to make more conscious choices and create meaningful change in our lives. This self-awareness, combined with the therapeutic relationship, can lead to greater emotional freedom, improved frustration tolerance, and healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

I primarily work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My experience encompasses a wide range of issues, including relational challenges, anxiety, depression, personality concerns, grief, and trauma. In addition to my commitment to insight-oriented therapy, my training at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary has equipped me to support those who wish to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process, fostering a holistic approach to mental and emotional well-being.
